He thanks Mazarin for his letter "which shows me that she wants to prevent my very humble services by favors which can only come from her extreme generosity which will always be much more appreciated by your Eminence Monseigneur than the advantages she can give me. Thus she must do me the honor of believing that my fidelity will be in all times"... He puts himself at her entire service and awaits her orders with passion...
