Large in-4 (32,5 x 25,4 cm). 1 f. of color lithographed title, (40) pp, (13) color lithographed plates: publisher's album, red cloth spine, first cover color lithographed, a young sailor carrying a flag, a girl carrying a baby, floral ornaments and light green frame, excerpt from the publisher's catalog on the second. Very nice and rare album illustrated with color lithographs in recto. A title page and two letters per page, including the W. Colored initials decorated with flowers, a finished composition, signed and dated [1886] by the painter and draftsman, Joseph Beuzon (1864-1940), member of the salon des artistes français. Joseph and his brother Louis (1872-1949) worked together as painters, poster artists and illustrators and signed their works J. L. Beuzon. Joseph Beuzon's productions are even more sought after. In mint condition. Provenance: Dr. Maurice Gizardin, with his bookplates and library label.
