*A rare ceremonial spear carved with two beautiful heads adorned with ancient red and white pigments. The original iron tip still bears the same deep red and white pigments, despite its oxidation. Songye, Democratic Republic of Congo Wood, iron, pigments, old cracks, truncated in the lower part, very nice patina of use. H. 167.5 cm (with its spearhead).
