It bears this probably autograph note on the title: "acheté à Nuits en 1842 // Alfred Marey-Monge."
Headcap torn off, corners dulled, split at spine ends. Some rare light spotting. Scattered foxing and a few foxed leaves.
Provenance: Alfred Marey-Monge.
