SALACROU (Armand). Tour à Terre. Le Pont de l'Europe. With two prefaces on contemporary theater and a portrait of the author by André Masson. Paris: Nouvelles Éditions Françaises, [1929]. - In-12, beige bradel half-percaline, smooth spine decorated with a gilt fleuron, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved (period binding). First edition of these two pieces. "Tour à Terre" premiered on December 24, 1925 at the Théâtre de l'Œuvre, directed by Lugné-Poe. "Le Pont de l'Europe" premiered at the Odéon in 1927. One of 50 copies on Lafuma pur fil alfa paper, the only large-format paper with 6 copies on Madagascar. EXEMPLAIRE DE LUGNÉ-POE, enriched with this autograph letter signed by the author on the first blank page: "à Lugné-Poe // avec ma reconnaissance // et mon amitié // Armand Salacrou." A good copy.
