ORDER OF THE LEGION OF HONOR - Lot 27
ORDER OF THE LEGION OF HONOR PRESIDENCY (1851-1852). Commander's star (60 mm) in enameled gold with tie. Obverse with the emperor's bust on a radiant field and reverse with an eagle on a thunderbolt on a lined field, but the emperor's bust and eagle look to the left and the top of the crown is a simple globe. The trigger guard is an unglazed ring. Eagle head hallmark. Restorations to the white enamels. VERY GOOD CONDITION.
