Khaki box, boards decorated with an abstract composition in relief made of irregular pieces of olive-green box on a background of pebbled paper, smooth spine decorated with a strip of olive-green box joining the compositions on the boards, dark green suede lining and endpapers, untrimmed, cover and spine preserved, folder with spine and overlapping strips of khaki box, matching lined slipcase (C. et J.-P. Miguet 1988). Extremely rare first edition of this poetic collection, published "for pleasure" and printed in an edition of only 10 numbered copies on wove paper. It is the tenth book in the "Charef" collection. Virtually every leaf is illustrated with an original color etching by Algerian painter and engraver Abdallah BENANTEUR (1931-2017). A superb copy, entirely mounted on tabs and expertly bound in 1988 by Colette and Jean-Paul Miguet. A perfectly preserved copy.
