The openwork handle is in the shape of a quadruped, possibly symbolizing a tiger. The spout is in the shape of a pixiu head. The three feet depict standing bears. It is covered with an attractive brown patina with hints of verdigris, red and lapis lazuli. The inside of the lid is decorated with a four-character archaic inscription.
