Textured 22K (900) gold medal depicting on one side Dali and his wife Gala in laurel foliage, while the other side is adorned with eggs and fleur-de-lys, sliding on an 18K (750) gold chain. Signed and numbered, dated 1966. French work, late 1960s. Diameter: approx. 4 cm. Weight: 96.3 g
In 1966, Dali created gold coins in his effigy, the "Dali d'or". In 1967, he teamed up with Piaget to create jewelry using these coins.
