BELA VÖRÖS (1899-1983) - JANINE BLOCH-DERMANT COLLECTION Young Girl with a Bowl, also known as Woman with a Cup, model designed in [1927]. Sculpture. Proof in bronze with a very dark brown patina. Early edition cast iron. Monogrammed B. V. on the terrace, bears an old label with the handwritten words Femme avec tasse - N°6101 inside under the base. Height: 47.5cm Provenance: Estate of Janine Bloch-Dermant. Possibly acquired at the sale of the sculptor's studio at Drouot Rive Gauche (now Musée d'Orsay) on June 25, 1979, under the direction of Mes Glück et Mercier.
