LOUIS SÜE (1875-1968) & ANDRÉ MARE (1885-1932) FOR THE COMPAGNIE DES ARTS FRANÇAIS 6-foot chest of drawers, reference no. 509 Large chest of drawers opening with six drawers, in light and dark gray lacquered wood. The corner and central uprights feature carved fluting on the capitals and receptions. Each side has a painted stylized floral motif. Spherical lacquered wood grips. Circa 1922. Used condition, lacquer chips and missing parts, scattered scratches, one drawer handle missing.
