RENÉ PROU (1887-1947) (ATTRIBUTED TO) Pair of ashwood armchairs. Gondola-type, multi-lobed backrests. The fronts of the armrests are flared and terminate in a scroll. The front legs are tapered, facetted and crowned with geometric motifs forming capitals. Sabre-type back legs. Quilted seats and backs (re)upholstered in velvet. Circa 1926.
