JEAN DESPRÉS (1889-1980) Modernist silver pendant and chain. The rectangular plate, with an indentation in its upper left corner, is decorated with free-form applications and pearlized rows on a broad hammered background. Signed J. DESPRÉS at the point on the reverse of the plate, and stamped with the Master Goldsmith and Guarantee hallmarks on the bail and chain clasp.
