A graduate of the École des Arts Plastiques in Barquisimeto (Venezuela), Cesar Andrade (Guarico, 1939) moved to Paris in 1968, where he exhibited his first linigramas. In his works, he uses rows of nails to generate kinetic movements in relation to the orientation of shadows on the supports.
