CARDEILHAC circa 1889 Shovel and crumb tray in silver with part of the handle in ivory, based on a model by Lucien BONVALLET, designer. Rare applied eyelet decoration, chased on a partly amatized background. Minerve hallmark Goldsmith's diamond-shaped hallmark and in full letters: CARDEILHAC PARIS and the letter M on each piece. Gross weight: 466 g - length of shovel: 35.5 cm, of tray: 20.7 cm Ernest CARDEILHAC was awarded the silver medal at the Exposition thématique organized by the Union Centrale in 1889, devoted to nature.
