Gaston CHAISSAC (1910-1964). L.A.S., [circa 1960]; 1 1/2 pages in-4, in red ballpoint pen. He finds it difficult to work, but has ideas for new paintings. "Perhaps you'd like my fantasies that I sometimes do with rabbit hut boards. At the moment, I'm doing a totem pole for an art dealer, decorated with something other than paint. Something very original. I'm in talks with a gallery for a contract, and it looks like it's going to work out". He would like to be "relieved of as much menial work as possible, which takes up too much of my time to the detriment of my creations. I've been impressed lately by the technique of children when they make abstract constructions"...
