Polished iron and ormolu sconce console table, half-moon shape, openwork belt decorated with a post and pearl frieze supporting a violet Breche marble (restored), resting on interwoven and foliate uprights; (minor accidents and missing parts). Louis XVI style, 19th century. H : 81 cm, W : 71 cm, D : 38 cm This console is reminiscent of the small series of bronze and polished iron consoles designed by architect Victor Louis for King August III of Poland in the 1760s.
