PARIS 1864 - 1874 Louis XV-style silver desk inkwell resting on a poly-lobed base embellished with foliate scrolls, complete with its stoppers. The central socket features a baluster bowl framed by two putti seemingly pushing a third putto that has slid to their feet. Mercury head hallmark, exported from 1840 to 1879.
