Jean Besancenot (1902-1992) Morocco, 1934-1939. Central High Atlas. Hartania of the Aït Ounir - Aït Atta group, Aït Atta headdress. Two Aït Isfoul women from the Aït Atta group - they are dressed in blue cotton garments, the veil enveloping a curious headdress armed with a large leather ring. Berber woman from the Aït Atta group, veil parted, revealing the effect of the blue and white drapes stapled together by the chain fibulas. Three (3) silver prints (c. 1980), matted, signed in pencil on the mounts lower right. Handwritten captions and negative numbers in pencil inside the mounts below. Medium format: 24 x 18 cm
