Khanjar dagger, Iran qâjâr, 19th century Curved steel blade with central ridge, the heel inlaid with a gold lambrequin inscribing the dates 994 H / 1585 on one side and 1052 H / 1642 on the other, accompanied by Arabic inscriptions. Curved walrus ivory handle carved with a soldier and a prince in a beaded medallion, the ends adorned with animal combat and palmettes, the base marked with a horn ring. Scabbard lined with walrus ivory plates carved with a floral lattice integrating on one side a princely figure and an inscription in a medallion. Steel bolt inlaid with gold plant scrolls, topped with a finial and finished with a button stinger. Length: 40 cm Some cracks, missing parts and accidents
