Very fine proof, addressed to Giacomo de Rossi, of a late 18th-early 19th-century print on strong laid paper, the square line reinforced, before the prudish retouching on the manly limbs (ordered in 1823 by Pope Leo XII). A few tiny freckles. Vertical drying fold in middle and another vertical fold visible on verso. Soiling and dusting on verso and in small margins.
