[MAGAZINE - DADA]. Dada 1. Literary and artistic collection. [Zurich: impr. J. Heuberger], July 1917. -Brochure large in-8, 232 x 196 : (9 ff.), illustrated cover. Stapled. First issue alone, of eight published, of this famous Dada magazine directed by Tristan Tzara, which marked a major turning point in contemporary literature. Texts by Tristan Tzara, Alberto Savinio, Nicola Moscardelli and full-page illustrations by Janco, Arp, Lüthy and Prampolini. The front cover is illustrated with a woodcut by Hilla de Rebay. Copy complete with last flyleaf. Non-missing tear at the edge of the front cover. Small ink stain and a few light spots on the same cover, and a larger ink stain on the bottom of the second cover, which has also reached the bottom of the last leaf.
