R. Demercière). First edition of this series of 5 tales for adults by writer Éric Allatini, who died in the Auschwitz camp in 1943. It is illustrated with 12 out-of-text color reproductions of watercolors by artist Gerda WEGENER (1885-1940). Edition of 449 copies; this is one of 400 on Arches laid paper, containing only the final state of the plates. A good copy, with all leaves mounted on tabs, in a signed Demercière binding.
