MADER MANUFACTURE circa 1825 Erato and Calliope Two trophies from the Muses and Attributes set. Gold-colored printed decoration and central medallion on brown background. Planed paper. 224x66cm Condition: small tears, stains and wear. Source: E.A. FAUCONNIER notes on Desfossé and antique wallpaper DK1935/1936 "Muses and attributes: Mader Père, with ceiling. This decor was regilded in 1910 for one of President Carnot's sons under number 10563." The Mader factory was sold to Jules Desfossé in 1851.
