MADER Père, circa 1825 Muses and Attributes decor: two strips decorated with grisaille medallions inscribed "Terpsicore" (sic) and "Melpomène" and draperies, on a blue or gray background. Collector's mark DK113 (and a number 326) and DK112 (and numbers 326 and 4302). Originally intended for a rose ceiling. 190x64cm and 188x64cm Condition: very dusty, tears, folds and wear.
