MANUFACTURE Jules DESFOSSÉ 1855 Le Jardin d'Armide (Armide's Garden), frieze of children on a velvety red toned background. Printed in color. Annotated in ink "2914 frise 25 jou... rechampi doré". Designers: Édouard Muller and Victor Bennoury. Dimensions: 60x280cm plus a 60x130cm fragment. Condition: very fresh coloring, but numerous accidents, small dents, folds and tears (some over 20 to 50cm).
