MANUFACTURE ISIDORE LEROY 1888 The Judgment of Solomon Original life-size gouache model of this seven-sheet set (complete) with twelve-color sample and designer's label: "Arthur Martin, 11 rue des Petites Ecuries - N°29 - 9 octobre 1888". This set was produced on a twenty-six-color printing press reserved for exceptional sets, manufactured for Isidore LEROY in 1877. Dimensions of one strip: 118x47cm Width of strips: 55 to 57cm - top margins: 13cm Condition: numerous accidents, wear, holes and missing pieces. Exhibition: Model presented at the Exposition Universelle de Paris, 1889.
