FRANÇOIS RATY (1928-1982) Owl, 1954 Zoomorphic vase. Glazed ceramic proof; the polychrome plumage on an ivory and brown background with fine craquelure. Signed, located and dated RATY 1954 Vallauris, in incisions under the glaze, bears an incomplete label, possibly from an exhibition, with handwritten notes in ink. Height: 19 cm - Length: 20 cm - Depth: 17 cm Please note: A work similar to our Chouette appears on a poster for an exhibition organized by Galerie 65 in Cannes, from April 5 to April 24, 1958.
