SPAIN, PROTECTORATE OF MOROCCO. ORDER OF THE MEHDAUIA, founded in 1926, abolished in 1956. A vermeil and enamel grand-croix necklace composed of eleven links alternately featuring a large openwork foliate scroll motif and enameled Moorish medallions. A central curved link, decorated with crossed spears, supports the order's star. Size: 51 x 41 mm - Necklace length: 49.5 cm Total gross weight: 260 g T.T.B. to SUP. Note: instituted in 1937, the grand collier was reserved for heads of state. Lot sold by appointment, collection available on Friday December 06.
