Alphonse MUCHA (1860-1939). Photograph with autograph dedication signed, Paris December 5, 1901; 12.7x17.3cm mounted on cardboard (18x24cm) with the photographer's mark. Beautiful photograph by J. Imbert (17 rue Vavin, Paris), showing the painter in his studio, seated in an armchair in front of his easel. Below, dedication in red ink, in Czech, to Simon Stantcj of Vienna, Paris 5/12 1901. Enclosed are 6 vintage photographs (approx. 9x12cm): 5 of Mucha in his studio (including one postcard), one postcard showing him with his son Jiri and two ladies on a seaside promenade, and 2 of his model Louise Papillard.
