Paul VERLAINE (1844-1896). L.A.S., May 25, 1890, to Raoul Ponchon; 1page in-8. "Mon cher Ponchon, Merci à vous, à Richepin et à Mr Verola. You will have, without phrases, without exaggeration, saved me, by giving me the means to get out of an incredible impasse, whatever the good and bad will of the organizers of the subscription of this badly cut Plume!"... [Léon Deschamps, director of the review La Plume, had opened a subscription in favor of Verlaine].
