JACQUES BLIN (1920-1995) Scaphandre, unique piece, presented at the 45th Salon des Ateliers d'Art, Paris,1972 Living-room lamp with diffused lighting. Proof in white earthenware. A small chip (original) around the opening, small hair at the top, soiling. Signed J. BLIN, under the base. Height: 31cm - Width: 26cm Please note: Jacques Blin was directly inspired for this work by the sphere that served as a desk for receptionists at the 45th Salon des Ateliers d'Art held in Paris in 1972. It was during this event that he created this lamp in his studio, then presented it on his stand.
