Jacques-Édouard GATTEAUX (Paris 1788 - 1881) A neoclassical album of approximately 138 tracings executed after the masters. Pen and brown ink, black pencil. Several tracings on the same folio, variable dimensions, the drawings are maintained on the edges (folds, small tears and traces of glue), one tracing flying. Annotation in pen and brown ink by Jacques-Édouard Gatteaux on verso of last folio: "J. Gatteaux. Rue de Bourbon n°36, Paris". Album dimensions: 33.3 x 25.6 cm This album is similar to the one in the Musée du Louvre (inv. RFML.AG.2020.30.1.226) known as "Le Musée imaginaire de Jacques Édouard Gatteaux".
