Leonetto CAPPIELLO (1875-1942) The Thermogen, 1909. First edition. Chromolithograph. Not canvas-backed. Imp. Vercasson, 6 rue Martel, Paris. Signed lower left. Extraordinary proof of the first edition of this mytic poster. Very good condition. Exceptional inking. 160 x 118 cm Bibliography: Cappiello, p. 151, no. 218. The quality of the line and the subtlety of the colors are incomparable to the numerous reprints made over the decades.
