Seven (7) albumen prints mounted on cardboard in carte de visite format and two (2) in carte cabinet format. Most are dedicated to Félix Charnay. Sizes: 8 x 5.5 to 15.5 x 10.5 cm A native of Mâcon, Félix Charnay traveled to Haiti and Saint-Domingue in the early 1880s (cf. Bulletin des séances de la Société impériale et centrale d'agriculture, vol. 42, 1882) and seems to have made connections with local political figures, as evidenced by the dedications.
