Light cavalry saber, An XI model. Basane-covered handle with brass olive. Brass mounting, hallmarked with the remainder of the Versailles hallmark, three-pronged guard, two baguette-shaped pommels and quillon curved towards the tip in a teardrop shape. Flat-backed curved blade "Manuf Rale de Klingenthal 9bre 1814" (retouched). Sheet metal scabbard with two bracelets and two rings. Asymmetrical sting. Length: 105.5 cm A.B.E. Cleaned. Restoration period.
