Roundabout with wooden horses. 1901. Drypoint and etching. 415 x 255. Tabanelli 75. Very fine and extremely rare proof of the 1st state (of 4), before various works, notably the replacement of the three women on the left by a large woman, printed in greenish-black on cream laid paper, dedicated obliquely at the bottom left of the subject "à mon cher Editeur Mr Sagot" and signed in pencil, then titled at the foot on the left. Very light trace of oxidation at the opening of an old mount. Some rare foxing. Full margins.
Provenance: Michel Romand (1929-2013), great-grandson of Edmond Sagot (1857-1917).
