Charles Maurin (1856-1914) Bust of a woman in a landscape. Circa 1900. Woodcut. 215 x 240. Fine trial proof of the black plate alone on buff wove paper, signed in pencil. Small lack in the lower left corner. Unbalanced margins. Joint: photographic reproduction of a painting by the artist (Carabin, 1891), pasted on cardboard, dedicated "pour Mr Sagot" and signed. Simonet photographer's stamp on verso. Set of 2 p. Provenance: Michel Romand (1929-2013), great-grandson of Edmond Sagot (1857-1917).
