Pablo PICASSO (1881-1973) Blind Minotaur Guided by a Little Girl in the Night (Suite Vollard, pl. 97). December 1934. Aquatint, scraper, drypoint and burin. 24.5 x 34.5 cm [34 x 44.5 cm.]. Bloch 225; Baer 437 IV B c. Very fine, fresh proof on Montval laid paper watermarked "Vollard", one of 260 from the small-margin edition, signed in pencil. Annotation (number 383) in pencil in the lower left-hand corner of the folio, in the hand of H. M. Petiet. Some light foxing at the margins. Fine trace of oxidation at the edges of the folio. Two small remnants of gummed paper at the head of the verso. All margins untrimmed. Ex-coll. H. M. Petiet (Lugt 5031).
