Pablo PICASSO (1881-1973) Portrait of Yolande, 1965 Engraved terra cotta incised with a nail file - Unique piece. (Restorations). 11 x 20.5 cm A certificate from the Picasso Committee will be given to the buyer. In 1965, Yolande and Lucien visited Pablo Picasso at the Madoura studio. The master grabbed a freshly turned bowl, imprinted Yolande's nail file, cut out part of the piece and carved his friend's double face into the still-baked clay. After firing, he will offer the piece to Yolande. Lucien Clergue witnesses the scene and immortalizes it with a few snapshots.
