CLERGUE, LUCIEN (1934-2014) [Signed] - Lot 43

CLERGUE, LUCIEN (1934-2014) [Signed] Agenda Tauromachie 1994. Éditions Plume, 1993. In-8 (21.5 x 16.5 cm). Original edition dedicated, dated (1993) and signed by Lucien Clergue. Texts by Lucien Clergue. Numerous bullfighting scenes reproduced: postcards, posters, and a photograph showing Lucien Clergue in action. The originality of this book is that Lucien Clergue is not the photographer, but the author of the texts and anecdotes opposite the reproduced documents. Illustrated boards. Also included a reprint of a subscription to l'Arc, cahiers méditerranéens (summer 1958); 4 pages, one of which reproduces a photograph of a bull by Lucien Clergue, with Lucien Clergue's handwritten signature in blue pen below the image.
