Pink and black box separated obliquely by a garland of gilt dots on the boards and spine, author's name in silver letters and title in gilt letters on either side of the gilt garland on the first board, smooth spine, edge-to-edge linings featuring the same decoration, pink silk endpapers, pink paper double endpapers decorated with a painted design composed of black pastilles and silver fillets, gilt edges on witnesses, cover preserved, gilt case (A. Dutel, 21. 280 copies of this edition, illustrated with 13 woodcuts by Jean-Gabriel Daragnès, including 1 on the title in pink, 6 in two-tone on the full page and 6 in black at the foot. One of 250 copies on Arches vellum. A very fine copy in a lined binding signed by A. Székely. Without jacket and printed label on cover. Some light foxing on the white endpapers.
