Charles Maurin (1856-1914) The Kiss. 1908. Etching and aquatint. 429 x 492, printed in color. A very fine proof on ivory laid paper, signed in pencil and annotated "Bon à tirer à 25 épreuves / Ed. Sagot / 27 Mai 08". Light foxing, slight oxidation and minor soiling. Tack holes in corners. Full margins. Provenance: Michel Romand (1929-2013), great-grandson of Edmond Sagot (1857-1917).
