Gilt bronze and white marble date clock, the dial set in a frame of squares, a trophy of love, a ribbon and laurel leaves, resting on an entablature supported by four white marble columns and two gilt bronze twisted columns framing a pair of doves, the base with a frieze of foliage and a basket of flowers; (minor wear). The dial is signed by Joseph Revel (at the Palais Royal), clockmaker received as master in 1775. Louis XVI period. H. 58 cm, W. 34 cm, D. 14 cm
