Anonymous Anti-Napoleonic cartoon. Spring, 1814. Etching. 232x340mm. Very fine and fresh proof on vellum, in very fine contemporary colors, trimmed on the plate cut but complete with the tablet. Minor brown spots. The "incendiary Corsican" is stigmatized here for his "bloodthirsty actions and projects", particularly against Spain: "Tyranny, hypocrisy, barbarism, baseness are his standards...". A similar print is in the British Museum.
