(signed at head, in 3rd person), Paris March 23, 1807, to Lavallée, secretary to the administration of the Musée Napoléon; 1page in-8, addressed (bottom of letter dusted). On the painting of the Marriage of Prince Eugène. Ménageot asks Lavallée "to include him on the list of artists commissioned to paint for S. Mté l'Empereur, and for whom Monsieur Lavallée must request advance payments from M. l'intendant de la liste civile, given that he is currently occupied with his painting of the Marriage of S.A. Prince Eugène, for which the sketch has been made, and part of the studies" [the painting is now in the Musée national du château de Versailles].
