Dragon helmet model 1825, modified 1830. Bombe, pomegranate headband on a background of laurel and oak leaves, gadrooned crest, leather-lined eight-ring chinstraps, radiating bosses and brass marmoset. Front of crest decorated with a palmette. Brush caterpillar, mane and marmoset puff in black horsehair. Brush sole in punched leather. Leather inner cap. Green leather visor and black leather nape lining (dings and minor wear). B.E. July Monarchy period. Presented with an antique tricolor plumeet.
