Two portraits of women, Iran qâjâr, 19th century Gouaches and gold on paper, each depicting a full-length woman, the first veiled in a green veil and wearing a red shirt and blue skirt, the second wearing a blue shirt and red skirt and smelling a flower. Mounted as an album page on cardstock with a pink border and brown margin painted with gilded floral decoration. Size of paintings: 15.3 x 8.2 and 15.3 x 8.5 cm; pages: 22.9 x 16 and 22.8 x 16.3 cm One edge of each page completely redone, small stains.
