Our work exhibited during this event. JACQUES INNOCENTI (1926-1961) After graduating from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1948, Jacques Innocenti moved to Vallauris, where he began production as a potter-ceramist - first at his parents' pottery, Grand Chêne, then in his own workshop (before taking over Grand Chêne following their tragic death in 1955). His creations, both utilitarian and artistic, are characterized by decorations - figurative or decorative - finely painted or incised using the sgraffito technique, and the refined use of pastel-like engobes.
