NATURAL HISTORY. Amédée OGIER DE BAULNY (1780-1851). Autograph manuscript signed, Cours d'Histoire naturelle, Dijon 1799-1800; one volume in-4 (21,5x17cm) of 380 pages (and 5ff.), bound in half brown basane (part of the spine is missing). Natural history course by Jacques-Nicolas Vallot (1771-1860), "Professeur à Dijon", carefully copied by Amédée Ogier de Baulny, a Coulommiers native who became an officer in Louis XVIII's royal guard (whom he joined in Ghent), captain of cavalry, and mayor of Coulommiers from 1840 to 1844. The manuscript, in brown ink, is very carefully copied; a detailed table appears at the end of the volume.
